More About me
I received my bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University in Art Education, and I am in the final year of my master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pacific Lutheran University. I have worked as a teacher & nanny for most of my adult life and kids of all ages hold a special place in my heart. As a therapist I enjoy working with individuals, families & couples to help navigate issues that arise within relationships.
I view my role as creating a comfortable space and building a supportive relationship as we work toward your therapeutic goals. My process is collaborative & incorporates a variety of theoretical approaches including Emotion-Focused, Narrative & Solution-Focused therapy, which will vary depending on your specific needs.
When I’m not with clients I enjoy curling up with a good TV show or going for a long drive to experience sights and explore new places. Creating art is also a passion of mine. I primarily make acrylic paintings based on photographs and have the long-term goal of a dedicated studio space. Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me and I look forward to meeting & learning about you.
